Illinois farmers have less optimism for 2020. That’s according to the latest Illinois Farm Bureau Annual Meeting member survey. Historic flooding, delayed planting and harvesting and the ongoing trade wars played a role in a sluggish farm economy and continued uncertainty. Farmers said ratification of USMCA and expanding investments in waterway infrastructure while defending the biofuel market were major priorities.
