A domestic disturbance report in Donovan led to the discovery of a 32-year-old man found dead Thursday evening. Iroquois County Sheriff's police responded to a reported domestic disturbance at 504 E. 2nd Street. There, police found Jeremy L. Smith unresponsive.

Little information has been released. The sheriff's office said no arrests have been made and called the investigation "ongoing."

A statement released late Friday afternoon stated deputies went to a home on East Second Street where they found Jeremy L. Smith "unresponsive." Smith was later pronounced dead at Riverside Medical Center in Kankakee.

The Kankakee County Coroner's office is also investigating the death.
