A farmer discovered a car crash west of Paxton Sunday. Police believe a crash the night before claimed the lives of a 29-year-old Chicago man and a 19-year-old woman from Rantoul. Ford County Coroner Rick Flessner identified the two as Reynaldo Hogue and Taylor Johnson. Autopsies are scheduled. The car they were in was found near a bridge at 150N and 1500 E Road. Speed may have been a factor in the crash.

Ford County Sheriff’s Police, Gibson Ambulance Service and Paxton Fire also responded to the call.
