A 46-year-old Bourbonnais man faces 2-counts of Aggravated Battery for allegedly battering another man in a domestic incident. Frederick Cherven was released on pretrial conditions. A Grundy County grand jury indicted Cherven on the two felony counts.

Records show Cherven is alleged to have punched a man several times in the face and head on February 26. The victim was over age 60.
