Updated information now finds the National Weather Service issuing advisories of how serious the weather pattern has become in parts of the country. The public needs to prepare for overnight 'threatening weather,' which may include dangerous winds and even tornado activity. And -- the more serious threat, is that the weather could hit while people are sleeping and not paying attention to emergemcvy alerts.
Winds could reach between 50 - 70 mph along with T-storms. The forecast calls for severe weather after midnight into the early morning Saturday hours. Cellphones and weather radios should be programmed to properly alert people.
