An employee of a recycling company, hired by the Onarga Academy, died of injuries sustained in an accident Tuesday outside the Onarga school.

Aaron Satorious of Minooka suffered fatal injuries when a heavy recycling machine fell from a truck onto him. Kankakee County Coroner Bob Gessner said Satorious was pronounced dead at Riverside Hospital in Kankakee. The 33-year-old victim was shredding documents outside the academy when he moved the shredder onto the lift of a truck it was sitting on. The machine shifted with Satorious jumping from the truck to try to steady the equipment, but it fell on him.

Satorious was employed by A-Team Recyclers of Shorewood.
