A 2-vehicle crash between a car and a semi in rural Milford Wednesday claimed the life of a Hoopeston woman.  64-year-old Sara Rhodes was pronounced dead at the scene. Iroquois County Sheriff's Police responded to the crash at 4:55 pm at 2000 E and 1000 N.

Police reports indicted Rhodes was southbound and failed to stop at a marked intersection.  Her vehicle was hit by a westbound semi operated by Sebastian Lade of Milford.  Police reported Lade was treated and released for a minor injury at the scene. 

A state police reconstruction team, the County Coroner's Office and Milford Fire and EMS assisted at the scene.
