A 44-year-old Watseka man faces drug charges after the Watseka Enforcement Team executed a search warrant Tuesday night in the 200-block of W. Hickory Street.  Raymond Joe (AKA "Griff") is charged with delivery of Meth, delivery of Heroin and resisting arrest.  Officers were able to conduct a narcotics buy from the residence and later followed up with a search warrant.  

Police reported the resisting charge resulted from an altercation with police once inside the residence. Joe had to be tased before taken into custody.  During the execution of the warrant, police located a small amount of narcotics, drug paraphernalia and about $3,000 in U.S. currency.  Joe was released due to provisions of the Illinois  SAFE-T Act.
