The Village of Manteno will have to rebound from the loss of two local businesses. XPO Logistics and DHL Supply are vacating a 570,000 square foot building. The two separate companies have notified the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Office. Both companies have involvement in the packaging and delivery of Mars Candy products. Both are re-locating to the Joliet area in Will County.
Nearly 900 full and part-time workers are affected by the closings.
