A ceremonial event in Kankakee County (Thursday) dedicated the sheriff’s department administration building in honor of former sheriff Tim Bukowski. The building now bears the name the Timothy F. Bukowski Public Safety Center.
Sheriff Mike Downey and County Board Chairman Andy Wheeler spoke of the many accomplishments Bukowski and his staff were able to achieve to improvement law enforcements efforts.  A plaque was unveiled in the lobby of the administrative center, bearing the name of Tim Bukowski.
