IMH pushing forward, new hires strengthen leadership team

Iroquois Memorial Hospital has taken more steps to place itself as a leader in being a driving economic force in the area. Hospital CEO Mike Tilstra updated the Iroquois County Board (Wednesday) about some major projects. Including the plan to build a new Rehab Center (near the hospital). Tilstra also commented on IMH’s investment in the Surgery Center to make it state-of-the-art………

"We hope to be the largest economic driver in Iroquois County.  The hiring and getting people to move here is a plus, and keeping patients here is a step toward better health," Tilstra said.

IMH recently welcomed Jeffrey Baker as administrator of the attached-Iroquois Resident Home. Baker is recognized for turning around facilities facing compliance and quality-of-care challenges. He plans to focus on recruiting and retaining talented staff.

IMH also welcomed Susan Lopez as Human Resource Director. She brings experience in talent acquisition and employee retention.

Paula Rosine joined IMH as Business Development Director, with years of experience in marketing, public relations and foundation development.

CEO Tilstra says all three leaders is another indication of the commitment IMH is making toward growth initiatives.
