A driver who was dumping grain into a pit in St. Anne is recovering after a grain dust explosion. Officials say the driver was taken to the hospital just after 2 pm Monday. No word on the driver's condition.

Emergency responders report the explosion, on E. Station Street, was contained within the pit and did not go into any of the storage bins. Officials are taking a closer look to determine if the explosion will impact the elevator's ability to accept or deliver grain.
