Watseka altercation leads to two arrests

Two people were arrested by Watseka Police (Monday) after they fought with each other, before officers intervened.  City officers were dispatched to the 1700-block of E. Walnut in reference to a male subject dragging a female while fighting outside a vehicle.  The vehicle in question, police report, was driven by 41-year-old Jacob Price of Creve Coeur (IL).  Again, Police said Price refused to step out of the vehicle and refused police commands.

A brief struggle led Price being arrested for DUI, Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. Aggravated Battery, Aggravated Battery to an Officer, Resisting Arrest.

The femaile passenger was also arrested for Interfering with the arrest of Price. 40-year-old Danielle Gee of Pekin (IL) is charged with Obstruction.
