DACC to host Career Expo April 24

Danville Area Community College is hosting its annual Career Expo on Thursday, April 24, in the Mary Miller Gymnasium. The event invites students only from 9 to 11 am and then thge public from 11 am to 3 pm.  Food vendors will be on-site during the event.
Co-sponsored by Vermilion Advantage, Central Illinois Media Group, the American Job Center, and Vermilion County Works, the Career Expo is the perfect opportunity to meet employers and explore job opportunities across many industries—all under one roof.
“This Career Expo is an excellent chance to explore multiple job opportunities in one place,” said Chuck Jones, Director of Vermilion County Works. “Join us for a day of networking, job opportunities, and career growth as we connect job seekers with top employers in the area.”
More than 60 employers will be in attendance. 

Those attending will have the chance to learn about job openings, training requirements, and what employers are looking for. The event is open to anyone looking for part-time, full-time, or future employment. Participants are encouraged to dress professionally and bring several copies of their resume.
