Battery Energy Storage Ordinance also to be considered

Citizens input is welcome today (Monday 5/5) when the Iroquois County Zoning Board of Appeals meets to consider revisions already discussed regarding the County’s Wind, Solar and Battery Storage Ordinances.

A 1 pm meeting is at the Administrative Center in Watseka. Any revisions, or proposed changes, go to the County Board Tax & Zoning Committee at 10 am Tuesday 5/6. The full County Board then meets Tuesday, May 13 at 9 am.

Proposed changes to the existing Ordinances would need to meet State statutes.
