Emergency responders in Kankakee County will be involved in a full-scale disaster drill Thursday. The public should note sirens and several agency vehicles and personnel will be involved in the drill, expected to last from 6:45 am ‘til about noon. Both Riverside and AMITA St. Mary’s Hospitals and the emergency agencies will be taking part in the exercise, which focuses on the Limestone area west of Kankakee.
