Kankakee County voters showed support for Colton Ekhoff in the GOP race for Auditor. He defeated incumbent Jake Lee, who served two terms. Eckhoff was a County Board member.
Democratic voters in Kankakee County favored Billy Morgan for State Rep in the 79th District. Morgan edged out former School Sup’t Genevra Walters for the win. Robert Ellington-Snipes and Dylan Mill were also in the contest. Morgan will face off with State Representative Jackie Haas in November.

Kankakee County voter turnout was less than 17%.
