Illinois State Police (ISP) have issued a reminder about traffic safety on Illinois roadways during the fall harvest. ISP says farmers across the state will be moving equipment along roadways. Police remind drivers and farmers alike to share the road and help reduce crashes involving tractors and other equipment.

Department of Transportation officials also urge drivers to slow down and share the road during the busy fall harvest.  Construction work also continues, pavement inprovements and bridge work.
