One person was killed in a single-vehicle crash Monday in Newton County, IN.  Sheriff's Police investigated just after 2:30 pm at County Road 1000 S, east of U.S. 41.  The male driver of a westbound vehicle left the roadway.  Police reported the vehicle rolled, ejecting the driver, who was pronounced dead  at the scene.

Along with the sheriff's department, other agencies assisting included the Newton County Coroner, County EMS, Brook Fire, Indiana Conservation Police, and County 9-1-1.
