Beaverville, Chebanse and Danforth offer some weekend events this weekend in Iroquois County.

St. Mary’s Catholic Church has its historic structure on display for the Annual Founders’ Day Sunday. Church tours are available. Mass is offered at 10 am. Several crafts and vendors offer their wares on the church grounds. Dinner is served from 11 am ‘til 3 pm. Proceeds benefit the church restoration efforts.

The Village of Chebanse welcomes visitors for the Annual 408 Bash. American Legion Post 408 sponsors the event, which includes a Trap Shoot, Archery Contest and Euchre Tournament. Saturday’s fun is American Legion Park. Tickets sell for $20 each. The Legion also features the Pull in the Park Tractor Pull competition Sunday at Noon.

In Danforth – Prairieview Lutheran Home hosts its annual Fall Festival today (Friday) and Saturday. A quilt auction is at 3 pm Saturday. There’s food, crafts and a silent auction and more !
