Iroquois County authorities are looking into the death of man found lying in a Gilman business parking lot (Tuesday) morning. An un-identified male subject, discovered in the lot off Route 24, is the subject of an investigation.

Illinois State Police - Crime Scene investigators – have been called into the case. County Sheriff’s Police and area business operators have reviewed video surveillance tracking the man who may have been a registered-guest at a nearby motel.

There’s no word of any foul play.
