Illinois and Indiana State Police plan roadside safety checks during the holiday period. Motorist are advised to buckle up and be aware of changing road conditions, with pending weather situations.  Illinois troopers will focus on Occupant Restraint Enforcement, Alcohol Countermeasure Enforcement Patrols and Nighttime Enforcement Patrols in Iroquois, Ford, Kankakee and Livingston counties.
