The National Weather Service has a burn ban warning in place. Will, Kendall, and Kane Counties are included with winds expected to 40 mph.  High winds are in the forecast Tuesday into Wednesday.

A garage fire in Kankakee this (Monday) morning did an estimated $15,000 damage.  No injury was reported.  Kankakee Fire Chief Bryan LaRoche reported a car fire, which extended to a detached garage on W. Jeffery Street about 8:15 am.  Damage to the garage structure was moderate.  The car was a total loss.

Danville Fire battled three separate fires Friday into Saturday.  No injuries were reported.
