A Thursday morning crash near Thomasboro killed a 33-year-old man from Ford County. The victim, from Elliott, died when his vehicle collided with another vehicle in Condit Township. According to the Champaign County Coroner (Steve Thuney), Pablo Sanchez Monrreal was southbound on County Road 1200 E when he disregarded a stop sign, hitting a pickup truck. The victim was pronounced dead at Carle Hospital.
