The Newton County Sheriff’s Office is sharing announced funeral plans for fallen sheriff deputy Brandon Schreiber.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday at the Newton County Fairgrounds from 2 to 7 p.m. Military rights will be included at the funeral the following day (Friday) ay 11 am.

The 32-year-old Schreiber died last Wednesday, (9/11), days after he was shot in the line of duty. He served the Newton County Sheriff’s Dept for five years.

Memorial donations are still being accepted can be made to the benefit account in the Schreiber name at the Kentland Bank (PO Box 145, Kentland, Ind., 47951) or be donated during the services.

Brandon Schreiber is survived by the his wife, Kaitlin and their two children.
