Investigators believe a cigarette may be the cause of a fire that burned a few acres of corn in Iroquois County. The blaze started yesterday in a cornfield area between Stockland Township and Milford. Authorities believe a cigarette thrown out the window of a vehicle may have caused the fire. No injuries have been reported.
