A manufacturing facility in Ford County is closing moving its operation to Alabama.  RhinoAg in Gibson City plans to shutter its operations by the end of March 2025.  Reports indicate 80 employees will lose their jobs. The company states in a news release the closure is necessary for long term sustainability of the company.  Layoffs are expected to begin in October.  LOcal officiaols are reaching out to support displaced workers.
