Area residents needing help paying their utility bills can still get it through the East Central Illinois Community Action Agency.  Mike Young, Assistant Director of the agency, says apply whether your home uses electric, gas, oil or propane because there is assistance available.

Contact the East Central Illinois Community Action Agency for help.  Call or stop by the office at 56 N. Vermilion in Danville for your appointment.
          
All persons applying must have certain information with them at the time of application including:

• Proof of the past 30-day income for all household members 18 years of age or older;
• A copy of your rental lease or receipt;
• A copy of your most recent utility bill; and
• Social Security cards/or print outs for all household members.
