A private family funeral service is arranged for James "Jim" Seabert of Martinton.  He passed away June 12 at his home. The 69-year-old Seabert was fire chief in Martinton for 16 years.  He was a 30-year member of the department.and also served as a Martinton Town Board member for 16 years.

The private celebration of life is available for viewing at 2 pm Saturday at the Martinton Church of Christ Facebook page. 

Jim is survived by his wife, Sue, one daughter, Stacey Lareau, 8 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, one brother, Gail Seabert and 2 sisters, Gladys Zeller and Gloria Bossert.
