A 14-year-old Chebanse boy died of injuries suffered when his bicycle collided with a semi Thursday afternoon in Iroquois County.

Jacob Daulton Justice died Thursday evening at Children's Hospital at the University of Chicago. The boy was injured when his bike collided with a semi at 3300 North Road, west of a railroad line. Emergency officials reported the boy was northbound on 1000 North Road when he rode into the path of an eastbound semi.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Knapp Funeral Home in Clifton.
