A 74-year-old man is dead after his car crashed with a farming tractor and another vehicle in Tippecanoe County, Indiana. It happened on State Road 25 Thursday night.
Investigators said Jack Kelsey of West Point was driving a minivan west on 25 when it hit a tractor pulling a disk ripper. It then veered into the eastbound lanes of 25, hitting a pickup truck.
Kelsey died Friday morning of his injuries from the crash.
The farm equipment driver was taken to IU Health Hospital in Lafayette. The pickup driver was uninjured.
Deputies said drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been a factor.
WGFA News reported Friday morning that a section of State Road 25 had been closed while a victim was airlifted from the scene.
