Iroquois County Assistant State's Attorney Kara Bartucci has been named new Associate Judge for the 21st Judicial Circuit.  She succeeds Judge Miachel Sabol, who was just sworn-in as the Circuit's new Residetn Judge for Iroquois County.

Chief Judge Michael Kramer announced the swearing-in ceremony for Assiciate Judge-elect Bartucci will be at 4 pm Friday, August 7 at the Iroquois County Courthouse.

Kara has been a lifelong resident of Iroquois County and Kankakee and considered a respected member of the legal community. She's a member of the Iroquois County Bar Association, the Kankakee County Bar Association and the Iroquois County Republican Women's Club.
