No one was hurt Sunday night on I-65 when a pickup truck was hit by a bullet. Indiana State Police say troopers are investigating. A pickup truck was shot while driving northbound on the interstate near Lafayette.
Police say three people were inside the truck when it was hit. The vehicle was near the Route 18 interchange about 15 miles north of Lafayette. The bullet went through the passenger-side door window and out the rear window behind the driver.
State police asked that anyone who knows of target shooting or other activity in the rural area to report it to troopers.
