ASHKUM --   District 21 Illinois State Police report two people were treated for minor injuries Tuesday after their car rolled over east of Paxton on Illinois Route 9.

The single-vehicle accident occurred at 2:30 p.m. at the intersection with Ford County Road 2550 East.

Police report Judith Reed of  Normal was eastbound Illinois 9 when her vehicle veered off the road.  Reed then overcorrected, causing the vehicle to strike a guardrail and overturn..

Reed and her passenger, Carol Feltenberger of Kokomo, Ind., were transported to Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.  They were treated for minor injuries.

State police reported no ticket was issued.
