Iroquois County Board Chairman Rod Copas has scheduled another Policy & Procedure meeting for this week. The 10:30 AM meeting Thursday ( March 7th) includes the Ford Iroquois Public Health Department and the Iroquois Economic Development Association on the agenda.
Other committee appointments are included.
Copas also reports an audit is reviewing financial transactions of the health department. Copas points out questionable expenses, including $1,000 for floral arrangements and $500 for gift cards to a sporting good store and charges to restaurants.
The health department response, from board members, details the expenses. The health department says it’s marketing and door prizes for program needs.
