PARENTS OF YOUNG CHILDREN ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND WATSEKA WAL-MART EVENT

Ashkum, IL- Illinois State Police District 21 are announcing that they will be putting on a free child safety seat inspection event on Friday, July 27th in the parking lot of the Watseka Wal-Mart located at 1790 East Walnut Street from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Certified child safety seat technicians from the Safe Kids Coalition of Kankakee and Iroquois Counties will be on site to evaluate whether a child is in the most appropriate child restraint for their height and weight.  District 21 will also have their "Roll-over" truck on hand to demonstrate the importance of child safety seats and seat belts.  No appointment is necessary and any questions can be directed to Trooper Ryan Wilson at (815) 698-2332 ext. 324.
