Governmental offices in the downtown Kankakee facility at 189 E. Court Street are closed to the general public beginning today (Thurs). Appointments are required by calling ahead.
COVID-19 concerns are the reason for limited access to the building from now thru the end of November. County offices affected by the announcement include: County Clerk, Treasurer, Assessor, Recorder, Finance, Planning & Zoning, Auditor, States Attorney - Civil Division, Maintenance, County Administration and Veteran’s Assistance Commission (VAC).
