The National Weather Service has issued a Weather Advisory for Ford and Iroquois counties.
After the NWS re-organized its forecast yesterday because of the path of the latest storm, an advisory was reinstated last evening.
According to the weather service, a brief period of icy weather is possible through this (Tuesday) morning, with a chance that the precipitation could begin as a period of freezing rain or sleet. According to the weather service, the freezing rain could result in hazardous driving and walking conditions.
The heavier amounts of precipitation are likely to channel to the north.
