An armed robbery at the Casey's General Store on W. Commercial Avenue in Lowell, IN was robbed at gunpoint Sunday night. Lowell Police report it was just before 10 pm when they answered a call to the incident.

The suspect was identified as an older male white with white/gray hair wearing a red and black checkered flannel shirt with a white undershirt, blue jeans and a white baseball hat. The subject was pulling a dark colored travel suitcase. The suspect entered the store and approached the counter and ordered the clerk to open the register and give him the money. The suspect pointed a shotgun at the clerk while making the demand. The suspect received money (approximately $1,000) and fled the store. The suspect exited the parking lot in a light blue passenger car (unknown make or model).
