A 67-year-old Paxton woman was found dead in her mobile home after firefighters responded to a fire Wednesday night. Ford County Coroner Rick Flessner identified Peggy S. Elkins. She was pronounced dead at the scene on W. Pine Street. An autopsy was conducted Thursday morning. There was no sign of foul play.
