Interstate 65 North is back open and traffic flowing between Tippecanoe and White counties after multiple fatal crashes closed the route in both directions. I-65 was closed down for more than 15 hours, beginning Tuesday night.

Indiana State Police said the northbound lanes of I-65 between exit 178, or State Road 43, and exit 188, or State Road 18, have reopened after a fatal crashes closed the interstate beginning Tuesday night.

Authorities said two people died in two separate crashes.
