Manteno Firefighters Union Local 4042 has issued a press release wanting Mike Bossert out as Kankakee County Board Chairman.

The firefighters go further than the FOP and AFSCME unions did earlier this week. County deputies are in favor of county board member Andy Weilert replacing Bossert when the board re-organizes next month.

Manteno firefighters are calling for Bossert to resign.
