The Newton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle rollover crash (Saturday) on CR 600 E approximately ½ mile south of SR 10.  A single male occupant was found ejected and lying in the middle of the roadway unresponsive. Police reported 32-year-old Christopher Ratliff of Lake Village, IN was pronounced dead at the scene. Ratliff was the sole occupant of the vehicle. The vehicle appeared to have left the roadway for an unknown reason striking a culvert. The crash remains under investigation.
