St Joseph's Holy Name Societ's Pork Chop Drive-Thru

The Holy Name Society of St. Joseph's Parish

May 18th from 10:30a - 1:30pm, St Joseph's holy name society in Bradley will be holding their pork chop drive-thru at 211 N Center Ave, Bradley, enter behind the school via Grove street.  $9.00 , Porkchop sandwich, applesauce, chips and a dollar for water. Proceeds go to on-going work on the church to enhance access ability issues and more.

Watseka Unit 9 Summer Breakfast Program

Watseka High School

Iroquois CUSD #9 Summer Breakfast Program will be served to children 18 years and younger and to persons over 18 years, who are enrolled in a state-approved educational program for the mentally or physically disabled.  

Free breakfast will be served at Watseka High School Monday - Thursday, June 9 - June 26 starting at 7:30a - 8:30a.  Children should enter through the Door 2 by the cafeteria on Belmont Ave.

Noble Discontent: Louisa May Alcott

Join us for a first person theatrical performance: Debra Miller will portray Louisa May Alcott at the Watseka Public Library on Friday, May 23rd at 7PM. Poet and author, abolitionist and nurse, patriot and suffragist; Louisa May Alcott was so much more than the author of Little Women. In this 45 minute performance, the audience meets with this prolific American author at the height of her health and success.
